年末年始の雰囲気も冷め止まぬまま、次はセブ最大のお祭りSinulog(シノログ)が待ち構えています。
今回は先生へインタビューをしました。それでは行きましょう！！

インタビュー前のDanielleの印象は
すっごい若い先生（先生？）がいるぞ？？？？？？？？
でした。
初めて見たのはキッズクラスで授業をしていた様子でした。
見た感じ高校生に見えるしいったい何歳なんだろう…。としばらく気になる存在だったのですが、
今回お話を聞くことで知ることのできた彼女の一面をお届けできればと思います！
（できる限り噛み砕いて訳したつもりです）
ーTeacher Danielleがクロスロードで働こうと思ったきっかけって何？以前にも教職についていたの？
実は仕事をするのはここが初めてなの。きっかけは私の親友がクロスロードを勧めてくれたことね。
私がここにやって来た6月時点では、まだ先生のライセンスを取るために勉強に集中しなくちゃいけなかった。
他の学校に申し込んでもいたのだけど、敷地内に入った時、そこの人たちがフレンドリーに感じられなかった。だからそこで終わりにはしなかったの。
結局、クロスロードに来て私を迎えてくれたフレンドリーな日本人学生と出会ったの。
その時に「ここで働きたい！」と思ったわ！
(Actually, this is may first job. And my closest friend invited me to apply here.
Also I'm looking for a relax job because last June, I still need to focus on studying for me to get a license for teacher.
I'm planning to apply another school, but when I get inside the gate, the people are not friendly, so, I decided not to period.
After that, I went to CROSSxROAD and I have seen some friendly Japanese students who greeted me. From that time, I thought "I want to work here.")
みんな多くの才能を持っているようだわ。
例えば、写真だったり、ファッションだったり、歌やダンスだったり…。
彼らと話すとき多くのことを学んでいるから日本人の生徒はみんな頭が良いと知られていると思う。
またここで働けることになってとても嬉しい。
生徒さんに学ばせてもらって、そして教えることができるからね。
似たようなことになるけど、私が教えている生徒だけじゃなくてクロスロードにいる生徒はみんな賢いと思う。
彼らはシェア...たぶん英語で自分自身のことを表現できないけど、もし私が日本語を理解できたら本当にもっと多くのことを学ぶことができると思う。なぜなら私はまだ20歳で心から学ぶこと、他人の経験を聞くことが好きだからよ！
（I seem they have a lot of talents.
So, for example, photography, their sense...their sense of fashion, singing, also dancing.
And then, I also think that Japanese students are known they are all intelligent smart because when talking to them, I have learn many things.
So I'm very happy that I have started working here because I was able to learn something from my students and also teach my students.
Not just my students but all the students here in CROSSxROAD are all intelligent and smart because they share...maybe they cannot express themselves in English but if I can understand Japanese, I'll really learn a lot for them. Because I'm still young: 20 years old, I really like learning, listening to other people's experience.）
うーん、これは「学ぶことをやめないこと」かな。今、私は先生だけど、それでもまだたくさん学ぶことはあるもの！
ーなぜそう考えるの？
経験こそが一番の教師だと思っているからよ。そして毎日違った経験をするからかな。
その経験から新しいことを学ぶことができるようになるの。もちろんそこから得た学びを将来の生活に役立てていく必要があるけどね。
私は「学ぶことをやめないこと」を伝えたいわ。
言葉を学ぶことってとても難しいわ。って言葉だけじゃないか笑
でも思うのが、母国語じゃない言葉を学ぶことは一番難しいことの一つってこと。
多くの時間を取られると思う、でもあなたは続けるって信じてるわ。
すでに英語を学んだ、すでに他の人より上手な英語を話せる人たちはあなたより勉強したのでしょう。
あなたはまだ勉強中。そして他の人に出来たのならあなたもまた出来ます。
これが私が知ってもらいたいことかな！

（This is To never stop learning. Right now I'm a teacher, but still I'm learning a lot of things.
ー Why are you thinking about it ?
Because experience is the best teacher, and everyday you experience different things.
So, from that experiences you will be able to learn new things, and of course you have from that learning you have to apply it to your everyday life in the future.
So, I wanna teach my students the same philosophy that I have which is To never stop learning.
Learning languages is very difficult. hmm...not only language hahaha.
But I think one of the most difficult thing to learn is Learning a different language.
It will take you long time, but just believe the you will learn.
Other people: they've already learned, they’ve had already good English than other Japanese, they did study more than you. You are still learning, so, if they can do it, also you can do it.
Those are the things I want my students know it.

Teacher Danielleとのインタビューで彼女の熱い想いを知ることが出来たし、自分自身とても学びが多くて参考になりました。
それに加えて色々な人と関わってその人のいいところをたくさん学んでいこう！そう思わせてくれました。
なんとなーくで選んだクロスロードで人生が変わった系男子。様々な国でホームステイをするも特に英語を使うような未来が見えなかったので留学、クロスロードと出会いました！ インターンとしてたくさんの人と関わってたくさんの生き方を知りたいです。趣味は卓球とか写真とか。最近は映画が好きになってきています！
